Our 50-Hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training Course is designed for yoga teachers and dedicated practitioners who wish to deepen their understanding of Yin Yoga and learn how to teach this slow-paced, meditative practice with confidence and precision. Yin Yoga focuses on holding passive postures for extended periods to increase flexibility, balance the energy flow, and promote deep relaxation. 

Held in the tranquil city of Mysore, this course covers the essential techniques, teaching methods, and philosophical foundations of Yin Yoga. You will gain hands-on experience in leading Yin Yoga classes, and develop the tools to incorporate the practice into your own yoga teaching.

Learn how to safely apply Yin Yoga poses to target the deep connective tissues, including ligaments, joints, and fascia. Study the Yin-Yang balance and how it relates to yoga, emphasizing stillness and mindfulness in practice. Gain insight into the energetic meridian theory of Yin Yoga and how to use postures to balance the body’s energy flow.

Anatomy and Safety

Study the anatomy of the body and the effects of long-held postures on connective tissues and joints. Learn how to modify Yin Yoga poses for different body types and physical limitations. Understand the safety precautions and contraindications for certain postures in Yin Yoga.

Meditation and Mindfulness

Incorporate mindfulness and meditation into Yin Yoga practice to enhance relaxation and presence.
